Ebba Ossiannilsson
Ossiannilsson is Project Manager at the Centre for Educational Development, and at the Evaluation Office at Lund University (LU), SE. In Dec 2012 she was appointed to take the lead for Lund University to go towards open education, MOOC, OER etc. and to investigate strategic missions on e-learning for Lund University. Earlier she worked at the Faculty of Medicine, Office for Continuing and Distance Education. Ossiannilsson earned her PhD from Oulu University, FI (14/12/2012). Her research is on international benchmarking, quality and quality enhancement on e-learning in Higher Educational Institutions. She earned her MSc in Occupational Therapy/Medicine from LU. Her BSc in Occupational Therapy she earned from Linköping University, SE. Her University Diploma in Nursing Education she earned from Malmö University, SE. She has even studied at Karolinska Institute, Gothenburg, Umeå and Lund University, SE.
Ossiannilsson works as consultant in a number of local, regional, national and international projects and governmental commissions in the areas of lifelong learning, widening recruitment, internationalisation, e-learning/ODL, utilisation of ICT, open educational resources/practices/culture, user generated content, pedagogical development, innovative learning in digital learning contexts, extended learning environments, next generation learning, and on quality related issues. Ossiannilsson has an interest and a reputation in international benchmarking projects and quality on e-learning and on quality/quality enhancement and learning in digital contexts and extended learning environments. She was contact person for LU for the Swedish Netuniversity. She works on international and national MOOCs and OER-projects, including local and regional implementation of OER/OEP.
Ossiannilson is a board member in national and international organisations within the area of e-learning/lifelong learning, widening recruitment, internationalisation and innovative learning in digital extended learning contexts as well as quality related issues. She is working for UNESCO and HEA and LERU, U21. Ossiannilsson is Dept. Director for epprobate, the international label for quality in e-learning courseware, and certified head reviewer and national partner in epprobate www.epprobate.com. Recently she has launched and contributed to the development of the Nordic Alliance for Open Education, She works as a Service development partner at OER Services http://www.oer-services.com. She has contributed and developed, and will organise and be responsible for upcoming OER-courses by OER-services.
Ossiannilsson’s research interests are in collaborative learning from the rhizome perspectives, on challenges of creating sharing cultures and innovative learning spaces and quality related issues. Ossiannilsson is highly active in sharing trends and innovation and the utilization of technology in the educational sector in social media and networks.
