Pernilla Näsfors Open data specialist

Pernilla Näsfors is an open data specialist who works for the World Bank and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), through her own company Openhearted AB.

At the World Bank she works with the Open Aid Partnership to help governments in Nepal, Kenya and other countries to open up their aid information management systems, and to promote the use of data among media and civil society. At Sida she works with the Openaid.se website and Sweden’s engagements in the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) Secretariat. Pernilla holds an MSc in Information Technology Engineering and has a passion for exploring how digital tools can be used to create democratic and social change.
